An impressive and beautiful video which has made Ivan Colic (Type O Negative, Hammerfall, Symphony X) of new single-Moonspell, Scorpion Flower, who will be their advancement of imminent new album, Eternal Night, which will be edited within a week.
In the clip we see the vocalist Fernando Ribeiro transformed into a kind of vampire located in a huge column and Anneke van Giersberg, former singer of The Gathering, now in Water Annique, turned into a sort of suggestive scorpion queen, while the banda is playing in the chorus of a Gothic cathedral.
A fable in which Moonspell have sweetened its extreme metal to become a metal Gothic really attractive, thanks to duet Ribeiro and Anneke. The disc was produced by Tue Madsen (HIMS, The Haunted) but the preproduction made at home with Waldemar Sorychta. Eternal Night will have two editions, one extra item with a simple and limited in another double digipak with different artwork, an extra item (Age of Mothers), a different version of Scorpion flower and a DVD with video clips of Memorial most of the making of Finisterre and three live video of his performance in the last Wacken Open Air.
